Do something daily (even if it’s only for five or ten minutes)
to improve the search rank of your website. My suggestion is that you do something daily, check for
results, be patient, and repeat.
I teach 3 courses that work great alone, but when combined
they work the best in bringing customers to you. The first two: Create a Blog in 5 Minutes and Make Money Forever, and Create, Publish and Promote Your Kindle book are pretty “straight forward” and once you’ve done the steps, you continue
to “tweak” things a bit, but when you get things in place, you are pretty much “done”.
With this third course: Web Site Traffic and Promotion, it’s as Victor
Frankenstein exclaimed: “It’s alive, it’s alive!”
Like you, with my websites, I’m constantly working to get (and
keep) sites in the upper 3 listings in the search rankings. This may be a
constant “battle” for some of us but I share things with readers (and clients I
coach) that have worked for me with my three major sites which are all
different in what they are meant to do . My own marketing site is a bit of a “catch
all” which requires much “offline” marketing: www.terscott.com.
The next is the site that is dedicated to selling imprinted promotional items
to customers across the USA, in which I am concerned about national and local
SEO: www.myimprintrep.com. And the
third is a “community informational and local business site” which is all local
SEO: www.twinportslife.com. I point
these three out because they are very different from each other and require
different SEO strategies. You may find some similarities with your site.
There is no easy
answer to SEO for any website. Sure there are strategies and tips that you
can find anywhere on the web, in my courses, classes, coaching, and right here
in this blog; but you need to do the work or hire someone to do it. Things are always
changing on the web, in how the search engines find your site and it can seem
very elusive at times. My suggestion is that you do something daily, check for
results, be patient, and repeat. Return here often and I’ll share the latest
tips that you can choose to use if appropriate for your site.
For those who attend my in-class workshops or seminars, I
often provide a limited duration of time for email communication to answer your
questions. You may consider enrolling in my Virtual/Online course or leave your
questions and comments after each of these posts and I’ll reply with my best
response.
You may consider
becoming a follower at these other related blogs:
This is a “new” blog so you can watch it “grow”*. The
premise of this blog is to teach people to not get overwhelmed with SEO and to
choose one page on one site every week to make a small improvement and you’ll
see great results over time.
This next blog teaches how one can and should translate
offline marketing activities to online marketing activities. Since I’ve
assisted business people in promoting their businesses prior to the Internet, I’m
now known as the “Bricks to Clicks Marketing Consultant” and teach the “new
ways” to market but without forgetting the “old”.
And here is another blog for those readers who want “free”
training about everything Internet. Here I share tips that would normally be
shared only with those who are in my classes and courses but I “spill the beans”
on a regular basis to promote the courses. It’s also a newer blog so you’ll
experience an education as you watch this one grow too*:
*As mentioned, I teach a Blogging course so I’m always using
my blogs as teaching examples for my class attendees.
That’s it for today. I hope you found something of interest.
Keep up the good work!
