Craigslist Ad, Webpage and Blog Post is a 3-Way Marketing Punch!

When I do something on the web, if I think it will help my web tips followers, I usually take note, and then present it here for my readers. I learned from one of my Internet gurus (Tom Antion for one) that when we create “products” we should always be thinking of the “next move” and how this one product can become “many”. With slight changes and modifications, this same product can be something else, to someone else. In the same way, I think of different marketing venues as products.

Before I present the steps I used here, let me first back up

and explain what I was doing.

I was creating a Craigslist ad for a product that is available through my Shop.com site: www.scottshopping.com. It’s a Market America site that I have been affiliated with for over 10 years as an Unfranchised Business Owner ™. It’s a great site, much like the big guys: eBay, Amazon, and others. Check it out when you have time.

The product is a weight loss product accompanied with an entire system that makes it successful; as a lifestyle, not simply a diet program.

So as I always do, while composing this CL ad, I’m thinking that I really do need a squeezepage that I can direct these interested CL viewers.

Later, those who are successful as a customer of the product, have had a positive experience and have an interest in pursuing income options, may be interested in becoming a member of our team. Success builds on success and being a product of the product is the first step.

There are no limits with TLS; only those you place on yourself. It’s about education and implementation, not limitation.

So I created the webpage (www.terscott.com/tls) on my current site. (When you do this, consider a separate website for your squeeze page; typically you’ll get better rankings in the search engines).

Now I have both a CL ad with a webpage to direct the interested parties. But wait, there’s more.

You know that I’m the “Man of 100 Blogs” right? Yep, I have a blog dedicated to Market America Products and Services. It’s called Market America and Beyond, because we are in many different countries. The address is: http://nowallmall.blogspot.com/ because it is often referred to as “The Mall Without Walls”. So of course I simply edited my CL ad a bit and used it as a post with a link to: www.terscott.com/tls.

I saved all of my content in a word document so I can easily edit, and copy and paste into other advertising venues; even a simple flyer to post in a Laundromat!

The next time you are composing an ad for Craigslist or anywhere else, consider using it again with a few changes to be appropriate. Now you know how you can use a Craigslist ad, edit and modify it to be used for your webpage/squeeze page, and also as a blog post.
